Most Library locations are accessible to people using wheelchairs. Full accessibility information is indicated on our Locations page and each library's home page. When a site is partially accessible, the specifics are detailed on that library's home page.
Library sites have assistive technology for those with hearing and/or vision loss. See Assistive Technologies for specific information about what is available at various locations. People with a disability may indicate this when they apply for a library card.
For more information about any of these services, please email accessibility@nypl.org.
In its continuing effort to serve the needs of all patrons, The New York Public Library provides access to a variety of assistive technologies for patrons with disabilities.
