Creative Aging: Bags of Crochet at George Bruce Library

Explore your artistic potential with Creative Aging, a series of art workshops for adults 50 and older.
This program will be held in person at George Bruce Library.
Join us for So Many Bags, So Little Time! Bronx artist Ruth Marshall will guide participants through the art of Crochet over 7 sessions from March 27 through May 8.
Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged.
So Many Bags, So Little Time!
Dive into the exciting world of handmade bags! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced crafter, this class welcomes all skill levels to explore creating tote bags, phone pouches, purses, straps, and more. Using yarn and eco-friendly plarn (plastic bag yarn), we’ll craft a variety of shapes and styles to design a custom bag just for you. Materials will be provided for this program.
Attendance at all sessions is recommended. Supplies are available on a first come, first serve basis.
This 7-class series is limited to 10 participants, so please register early to reserve your spot. Let’s get creative and crochet your perfect, handcrafted bag!
