Meditation is a very simple practice, available to all. By including this technique into your life, it can reduce stress, increase calmness, and clarity as well as promote happiness. Learning how to meditate is so easy, and the benefits can come quickly. Join William Smith, retired Army Lt. Colonel and long time meditator, who will share this practical technique during the session. There will even be a chance to try meditating. By incorporating meditation into your daily routine you will see the changes!

Bio:

William Smith, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel engineer, has a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of South Carolina. As an Army officer, he pioneered this new technology within the Department of Defense. William is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and has held many leadership positions during his successful 20-year military career.

William has always been passionate about meditation which he has incorporated in his life for over 50 years.  Since retiring he has spent a lot of time volunteering as a summer camp director for 22 years; teaching children how to meditate and inspiring them to incorporate ethical living into one’s life.

He has taught numerous classes on this important topic to a variety of audiences. William enjoys traveling and giving talks on meditation in the US and internationally.
