This event is ONLINE only.  Join the Grand Concourse Library when we discuss the story, "Back When We Talked to the Dead," by the Argentinian writer Mariana Enriquez.  A group of teenage girls in Argentina use a Ouija board to try and contact the spirits of people who disappeared during the country's "Dirty War" in the 1970s.  Click the title above to read the story.  On the day of the program, a link to join the discussion will be sent to you.

Mariana Enríquez (born 1973) is an Argentine journalist, novelist, and short story writer.  She is a part of the group of writers known as "new Argentine narrative".  Her short stories fall within the horror and gothic genres.  Her novels include "Things We Lost in the Fire" (2017) and "The Dangers of Smoking in Bed" (2021).
