Digital Exhibition: David Rudofsky 'Pandemic Sunrises, Sunsets, Clouds and Rainbows'

Through the years the St. Agnes Library has featured many local artist’s exhibitions. It has become something our patrons look forward to seeing with each visit. With our temporary closure due to COVID-19, we want to share artists' work so that everyone can experience some beauty in their life.

This week we are featuring David Rudofsky's series, Pandemic Weather. You can find more of his photos on Instagram @DBRUDO.

The pandemic has disrupted our lives, our social structures, our sense of well-being.  I found the simple act of watching the days break and come to a close, in June and July, reassuring.  The sun was still rising in the east and setting in the west. The variability of what makes a memorable sunrise or sunset – precipitation, pollution, cloud patterns – was all within expected norms.   We are getting through the pandemic one day at a time. Each day brings its own challenges, but some days also their own rewards. David Rudofsky   9/10/20
