Jerome Robbins Dance Division Coloring Books: Volume 5, Nature Dancing (#danceincolor)
Although we’re in the middle of a tropical storm watch, we still hope you’ve been able to enjoy some time outdoors, immersed in nature—perhaps even doing some dancing! Images of non-human dancers from the natural world abound in our digitized prints, from the horse ballets beginning in the late sixteenth century to caricatures, both satiric and sweet, of humanoid animals and plants. We hope the images selected for our latest coloring book will bring a smile to your face and a spring in your step as you color them.
If you've missed our earlier volumes, you can still download them:
- Jerome Robbins Dance Division Coloring Book, volume 1: Dancing Together
- Jerome Robbins Dance Division Coloring Book, volume 2: Art for Dance
- Jerome Robbins Dance Division Coloring Book, volume 3: Dance in Asia
- Jerome Robbins Dance Division Coloring Book, volume 4: Women with Wings
Post your art on Facebook and Twitter (#danceincolor), or email your masterpiece to dance@nypl.org to share your inspirations with us!
