Digital Exhibition: Bobbi Beck’s 'Everyday Art'

Through the years, the  St. Agnes Library has featured many local artist’s exhibitions. It has become something our patrons look forward to seeing with each visit. With our temporary closure due to COVID-19, we want to share artists' work so that everyone can experience some beauty in their life.

Our artist this week is Bobbi Beck. Inspiration for her work comes from events that we all are facing each and every day. The pandemic, politics, the planet, the economy, and an unknown future that we cannot even begin to predict anymore. This and much more is absorbed and reflected through her art that she uses as her visual diary.

“Everyday Art“

I love Bobbi Beck’s images, and have enjoyed seeing them a couple of times displayed in the branch library. Bobbi’s drawings are both complicated and soft, capture so much external context and inner feeling, and speak to and for me! Thanks, Bobbi.
