Author pronunciations

On an older episode there was a discussion about knowing how to pronounce someone's name ahead of time. There is a great website where authors and illustrators say their names aloud. You can find it here: https://www.teachingbooks.net/pronunciations.cgi

great

This is an excellent resource -- thank you!!

FAN MAIL

Hello! I love your podcast! I can't wait to read SEVERANCE by Ling Ma. After listening to the podcast, all I could think about was how many of us (including me) would be repeating the act of picking up the phone and scrolling through it - over and over and over again. Yikes! Thanks for the great recommendation! Signed, YOUR BIGGEST FAN (and also a librarian), Melissa Buron

thank you!!

Oof, SUCH a good point about the phones... over and over again for us too! Thanks so much for this lovely comment, and thanks for listening -- we appreciate it so much.

Severance

My 12 yr old and I listened to this episode and she is VERY interested in Severance. I picked it up today at my local library and didn't realize it wasn't YA. Do you know if it's age appropriate for a 12yr old? Any sex scenes or racy parts? She reads lots of YA but this would be her first venture into adult fiction. Thank you! Ps. I love your show. It puts a smile on my face every time.

need more of you guys

I am so disappointed you have gone to one podcast every other week. I need you two weekly. I love you guys and I love the podcast. Keep up the great work!

I agree wholeheartedly. I

I agree wholeheartedly. I hate that it's now every other week and I'm dying to know why. It sure as hell isn't because of the disinterest of all their loyal listeners. It's also aggravating that we'll never be told why. Things like this make me crazy with curiosity.
