In Invincible Iron Man: Ironheart Vol. 1: Riri Williams by Brian Bendis, we meet Riri Williams. Riri is an engineer who creates her own Iron Man suit to make the world a better place. Like Shuri, Riri creates new technology that can change the world.

In Princeless: Save Yourself by Jeremy Whitley, we meet Adrienne Ashe, a young girl who does not want to be a princess. When Adrienne is locked in a tower to wait for a prince to save her, she decides to take matters into her own hands and begins a fantastic adventure.

In Goldie Vance Vol. 1 by Hope Larson, we meet Goldie, a very smart and inquisitive young lady who dreams of becoming the in-house detective for the resort her father manages in Florida. When the current in-house detective has trouble solving a mystery, Goldie agrees to help in exchange for his mentorship.

In Batgirl Vol. 1: Batgirl of Burnside by Cameron Stewart and Brenden Fletcher, Batgirl, known as Barbara in her daily life, is a vigilante gone viral. Her heroics attract some terrible enemies but she has her best friend Frankie to help. After Frankie learns of Barbara's secret identity as Batgirl, she becomes her behind-the-scenes hacking partner, helping her in the same way that Shuri helps T’Challa.

 

Black Panther: World of Wakanda by Roxane Gay with Ta-Nehisi Coates tells the love story of Ayo and Aneka, two new members of the Dora Milaje, an elite force protecting Wakanda and Queen Shuri at all costs.

In Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Vol. 1: BFF, by Amy Reeder and Brandon Montclare, we meet super genius Lunella Lafayette, a girl who wants to change the world! Lunella teams up with a beast who was teleported in from the prehistoric past and the adventure begins!

In Storm Vol. 1: Make It Rain by Greg Pak, we meet Storm, a mutant who joins forces with Callisto to find out who's kidnapping young people in New York. Storm knows the world is suffering and wants to heal it. (She has always been my favorite X-men character).

In Motor Crush Volume 1 by Brenden Fletcher, we meet Domino, a racer with a deep, dark secret, racing in bike wars where she competes for an illegal enhancer known as Crush.

Saga, Vol. 1 by Brian K Vaughan is the story of Alana and Marko, former soldiers from opposite sides of an intergalactic war. They fall in love and have a daughter named Hazel, who they would love to raise in peace while they are on the run. Hazel helps narrate the stories.
