Hi Mike. This blog post is from 2017 and since that time NYPL doesn't access The Washington Post via PressReader. If you go to this page: https://www.nypl.org/collections/articles-databases and type it into the "database/title" field, you can choose between the archive (1877-2004) or recent issues which we now access via National Newspapers Premier. You need your library card

You need your library card number to access Flipster. You should have received an email with your 14-digit library card number when you signed up for a SimplyE account. If you need to retrieve it, you can log in here (https://ilsstaff.nypl.org/iii/cas/login?service=https%3A%2F%2Fcatalog.nypl.org%3A443%2Fpatroninfo~S1%2FtopIIITICKET&scope=1) with your username and PIN and find your number below your name. Can I donate magazines?

Would any part of the NYPL be interested in a donation of old music magazines? I have between 200-300 issues of magazines mostly devoted to acoustic guitar and songwriting. Some go back to the 1980s, and a few of the publications are now out of business, so some of my issues may be collectors' items. If you would like to have them, please reply and tell me how to begin the process.
