Agatha Christie’s two leading sleuths — one a Belgian detective with a heroic moustache, one a perceptive amateur with a deceptively innocuous spinster vibe — have gotten themselves into countless tricky situations over the course of her esteemed career and dozens of novels and short stories.
In honor of Christie’s birthday on Sept. 15, 1890, we created a quiz to see if you can tell her two most memorable creations apart.
