At last . . . .

I've been waiting for you to discuss Hunger ever since I finished it last month. I just knew it would make the pod. Thank you both for your continued awesomeness. You bring joy to my week.

yay!

Aw, thank you, Cousin Reena! And thank you for YOUR continued awesomeness too. :)

The Right Podcast at the Right Time

I listen to the podcast as soon as it appears in my feed and love it every week! Gwen, thank you for talking about Roxanne Gay's book and how powerful it is. I am so glad that you mentioned that anyone with body image issues would see themselves in this book. It truly was a book I was waiting for to be published and then I devoured it when I got it from the library.

thank you!

I feel the exact same way, Tammy -- I was waiting for this book! I hope a million people read it. Thanks for your comment and thanks for listening!

Love the podcast, and library holds

Keep up the great work with this podcast, I love listening and really enjoy the dynamics of the two of you together. Re library holds, I've just put "Hunger" on hold (I'm #19), and today I got a 'hold' surprise when an email arrived alerting me that "Stories of your life and others" is waiting for me (another recommendation from your show). I'm looking forward to reading it.

excellent!

The serendipity of the holds queue is REAL, right? So glad it's working out for you too -- let us know how you like the books, and thanks for your comment.
