Dolly Madison ice cream

Hi Frank! I was so happy when you mentioned Dolly Madison brand ice cream. I remember the commercials on TV for the Dolly Madison treats. The ads used to air during all of the Peanuts/Snoopy TV specials. The brand is named Dolly Madison because legend has it that Dolley Madison (former first lady) was the first to serve ice cream as a dessert in the White House. Gwen: Bell Biv DeVoe sang "Poison". You are young! Thank you Frank and Gwen for another great episode.

Yessss!

I so remember DM ice cream ads hosting those Peanuts cartoons! I also remember being so little that my parents would wake me up just so I could watch those Charlie Brown specials. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks!

Middle TN Youth Services Librarian and LIS student here. Thanks for this podcast, (and the Hamilton nod—I'm obsessed!) I'm currently studying the best practices for Library Services to Immigrant populations, and found this episode to be super-helpful. So, thanks!

Yeah, so...

I went and bought yasso bars. We even had them in SC!!!!

Parks and Rec and the Library

I also love Parks and Rec! But how do Adriana and Gwen feel about how the whole town of Pawnee hates the library? It's a great joke because it's absurd ... right?

behind still but catching up

Ok, answer to the Bell Biv Devoe question is Poison.

Guessing Game

I'm catching up on back episodes and was thrilled when I finally got the Guessing Game clues (about a fraction of a second before Gwen). The "series of 8 books" and the "latest book came out a year or two ago" hints were what clued me in! I love the podcast- all episodes are great and the humor and banter between Gwen and Frank always bring a smile to my face.
