NACC: Free Job Training for Paralegals
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that the number of paralegals and legal assistants will grow 8% from 2014 to 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations. The median annual wage for paralegals and legal assistants was $48,810 in May 2015. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $30,670, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $79,010. The New American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) free Paralegal Certificate Course is the cornerstone of NACC, CARE, IJLEF and Figeroux & Associates, an educational empowerment project to help members of their community attain job training in legal services.
- The NACC Paralegal Certificate Program ia free to all members of the Chamber.
- NACC memebers: A non-refundable registration fee of $50 is required.
- Non-members: $200 (includes individual chamber membersip & non-refundable registration fee).
