I got my library card in Brooklyn. We are going to move to Staten Island soon. Do I have to apply for a different card in a different borough?

I would like to join your library.

I'm an intern from Korea and I live in New Jersey. I already have the library card from Rutherford Public Library, but I would like to have your library card, too. Could I make one from your library? ^^

Library Cards for out-of-state folks..

Hi, I wish NYPL would consider a "membership" for those of us who don't otherwise qualify for a card...maybe restrict it to only online use (such as databases, e-books, etc)...I realize I can travel to NYC and get a 3-month card as a visitor but if you charged a membership fee for those not otherwise eligible I bet you would find a lot of folks willing to pay $100/year for this option...
