30 Days of Shakespeare
April 23, 2016 marks the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death and the Western world is preparing to celebrate with performances, exhibitions, programs, talks, screenings, and other cultural happenings. As part of NYPL’s contribution, we asked thirty staff members to select and read their favorite Shakespeare speech, monologue, or sonnet. We will release one each day throughout the month of April. We hope you hear something you enjoy.
