I was there at 12:00, coming all the way from Connecticut to find out the job fair was closed! Such a waste of time and $$! Extremely disappointed!

I am interested in possibly becoming a bus operator I have my drivers license, this October will be a year for me having it, and I was going to go for my CDL permit. I want to know if I should apply and if I would have a good chance of qualifying to be appointed.

everybody was outside waiting to be seen by n interviewer. They should have had a table out giving out the applications to be filled out and just to attach ur rezume . The organization of how they had it was not organization. today was insane. with all the money that the mta made today they could at least hired people the Handel overwhelming capacity

You Got To Be Kidding Me Right?

I stood on line from 8am and still was not able to make it to the front of the line to be seen. People were fighting because others tried to skip the lines. The amount of people who showed up was beyond overwhelming it was insane to say the least. The police had to block people even after the lines were closed. By the way MTA if your going to advertise a job fair please be better prepared. The time stated was from 10am-2pm not until 12 noon. How does the organization think a small few are going to show up when so many people are out of work. Think Mcfly Think!

i will agree it was insane.!!!!! not only i was in line for a long time. the people that had first dibs was the campus students. i was told that the line started @ 6 am. i am one of the people that is looking for a job. How dare they do this. The MTA had enough time to organize this event n they pick the place. Why was they not prepared, is beyond me. Neva again .

It was disaster today at the job fair. It looks like no one prepared this event. Tons of people didnt even get inside the building. Cops shut it down around a quarter to 12. I feel like today was very unproductive day. Mta staff did a terrible job

I attended the last MTA job

I attended the last MTA job and career fair held at Manhattan. Met one of the hiring authority, had a one minute interview, gave a copy of my resume..that's it. After that no contact, no response. I am an engineer with 15 years working experience in a related (NYCT) field. Attended the fair with the hope to get into NYCT..but there was no point!
