2012 Olympics reading list

Oh, and there's Native American Son: The Life and Sporting Legend of Jim Thorpe (Knopf 2010; paperback U. Of Nebraska's Bison Books March 2012). Thorpe's Olympic centennial is this year, 2012. He won the pentathon AND decathlon in Stockholm at the Vth Olympiad, becoming the first Olympic superstar.
