Join Tyra Banks in an engaging author appearance that will include heart felt and fantastic discussions, lively group interactions (yes, YOU are part of the program!) and of course a fun-filled Q&A from the audience. This impactful one hour event will expose all attendees to Tyra's core mission to expand the definition of beauty, while inviting them into the wonderful, mysterious and awe-inspiring world of "Modelland" - her debut fantasy novel for young adults. Come prepared to share, to be moved, and entertained!

Teens will be given priority admission to this event.

All attendees will receive a free, signed copy of Modelland!

TeenLIVE reaches teens culturally, artistically, inspirationally, technologically, and more with the biggest, best, and the brightest stars. The programs will spotlight current cultural trends and important mainstays that inform the lives of today’s teens.

International entertainment and media icon Tyra Banks is the creator and co-host of “America’s Next Top Model,” a two-time Emmy-award-winner and one of the world’s most successful models. Her first young adult fantasy novel, "Modelland" will be released by Delacore Press Books for Young Readers on September 13th.

Tyra invested five years in conceiving and writing her first book of fiction, “Modelland” which is the first in a series of three; her lifelong love of reading and storytelling is deeply embedded in every page and her commitment to empowering girls is every present.  The book, which is for young adult readers ages 12 and up, tells the story of Tookie De La Crème, a 15-year-old aspiring model who receives an unexpected invitation to Modelland—an exclusive, mysterious place on top of a mountain.   Thrown into a world where she doesn’t belong, Tookie glimpses a future that could be hers –if she survives.
