The Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is excited to provide in-person 1:1 business advisory sessions at the NYPL’s Business Center. New York City-based small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs can sign up for these sessions and receive help with securing small business financing, marketing, and sales strategies, accessing procurement opportunities, business planning, and other operational challenges. Sessions will be one hour in length and are by appointment only.

To arrange a free one-to-one session, sign up and complete the online counseling request using the new SBDC eCenter system, NYSBDC eCenter Direct. You will be prompted to create an account username and password in order to complete your counseling request. 

In the “Area of Assistance” section please indicate the following:

1.    That you would like to schedule an in-person session at the New York Public Library’s Thomas Yoseloff Business Center at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, at Pace University’s downtown campus, or virtually
2.    Date requested
3.    What you would like assistance with

After your account is created and counseling request submitted, an SBDC counselor will be in touch to confirm your appointment date and time. You should receive a confirmation email after you've completed the final step.
