This event is ONLINE only.  Join as we discuss the David Mean's short story, "Vows."  The narrator, an unfaithful husband, focuses on the renewal of the vows he and his wife made after both had extramarital affairs.  The "vows" in the title represent the deep commitments people make to each other, even in the face of challenging circumstances.  Click the bolded title above to read the story.   On the day of the program, a link to join the discussion will be sent to you.

 

DAVID MEANS (born 1961) is an American short story writer and novelist based in Nyack, New York.  His stories have appeared in such publications as The New Yorker and Esquire.  Means' stories are frequently set in the Midwest, where he was born and raised,  or along the Hudson River in New York.
