Genealogy Essentials, Online, Research 101: Researching the History of Your New York City Home

This class is online only. Have you ever wondered about the history of your home? Who used to live there or what their lives were like? This class will show you how to research the history of your building and the people who owned and lived in it. Looking at censuses, city directories, land conveyances, and photographs, newspapers and local histories you will learn how to construct a narrative history of your home.
