One-on-One Computer Help
Location
This event will take place in-person at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, 4th Floor, Room 403.
Work one-on-one with a Library staff member to answer questions about computers. If you have a tech problem, question, or would just like some individualized tutorials, this is your time to work with a librarian and receive personal attention and instruction.
Examples of computer help can include:
- Learning to use the internet and get help navigating websites (Ex: NYC and NYS agency websites)
- Help with email (ex: creating an email account, sending and replying to messages, sending attachments, etc)
- Learning to type using an online typing program
- How to access our free eBooks and Audiobooks with your library card
- Learning to use our Library Catalog and help with searching our Library Databases
- Learning to use Microsoft Office
- Learning to use Google Docs
- How to use Zoom and Google Meet
Please register in advance for a session lasting approximately 30 minutes. The Library’s computers and internet connection will be available for use during this session.
