Have you ever wanted to learn to use a 3D printer? Join Baychester YA for this three-week course where we will explore the basics of using TinkerCAD to create digital 3D objects and then print them!

In this course we will make accounts on TinkerCAD, learn about the differences between 2D and 3D digital files, and figure out the do’s and don’ts of designing objects for printers. After our designs are finalized in week 3, they will be printed by Baychester staff and can be picked up after a few days.

Participants are strongly encouraged to come to all three sessions, which will be:

  1. Thursday December 5, 2:30-3:15pm
  2. Thursday December 12, 2:30-3:15pm
  3. Thursday December 19, 2:30-3:15pm

We will be using library laptops for this course, so you only need to bring yourself and your imagination!

Discover what the Library offers NYC teens, including our newly expanded Teen Centers at select branches, TeenLIVE events, programs, book recommendations, and more.
