This program will be in person at Allerton Library. Please join us as we explore our new STEAM kits- you will have a chance to see how the kits work. Suitable for ages 6 and older. STEAM Kits are available to borrow for 3 weeks with a library card.

What are STEAM Discovery Kits?  STEAM Discovery Kits enable kids and tweens to explore robotics, circuitry, microbiology, engineering, coding, and more using exciting tools, toys, and books at home. STEAM is short for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. STEAM activities and programs are an excellent opportunity to introduce concepts and promote skills that can set you up for creative, scientific, and collaborative thinking now and in the future!

  • Audience: Children, School Age (5-12 years)
