Event Details

This event takes place IN PERSON at Mott Haven Library.

Come to the Library and meet other people who are practicing English, just like you!

Practice your English conversation skills by watching "We Speak NYC" videos with us and discussing them with other adults from around the world!

NO REGISTRATION NEEDED!  Just come to a class! New students are welcome anytime.

"We Speak NYC" is an Emmy Award-winning TV show created to help people practice English. Each story is about everyday situations, like going to the doctor or talking with a child's teacher. The characters speak slowly and clearly.

The program works best for people who speak some English and want to practice.  We recommend it for Intermediate and Advanced-level speakers of English! For beginner students, we recommend the Library's formal Series-Based English classes, which you must register for. Learn more at nypl.org/english

This event will take place in-person every Wednesday at Mott Haven Library (321 E 140 St, Bronx NY)
