Location
Angela Johnson is a multi-award-winning author, including three Coretta Scott King Awards and an Ezra Jack Keats award for her books. In this program, we will be learning about Angela Johnson's newest book, A Girl Like Me, which is featured on NYPL’s Best Books for Kids 2020 List. Angela will be sharing about her life as an author, and what “accidental writing” means! This will be followed by a Q&A with Angela and NYPL librarians.
