Join us for our first knitting and crochet circle for teens and tweens! This program is for any skill level - even absolute beginners! If you're a beginner, we will teach you some basic stitches to get you started; if you already knit or crochet, bring a current project to work on! Feel free to bring your own materials, but we will also have hooks, needles, and cotton yarn for you to use here. Tea and snacks will be provided. Join us for a discussion of The Other Significant Others: Reimagining Life with Friendship at the Center Why do we place romantic partnership on a pedestal? What do we lose when we expect one person to meet all our needs? And what can we learn about commitment, love, and family from people who put deep friendship at the center of their lives?

Come study in our community room with snacks, tea/hot chocolate, and lofi music! Laptops will be available for use. This is a drop-in program -- feel free to join anytime within the hour and stay as long as you need. Do you love plants and want to grow your collecton? Or are you looking to start your indoor garden? Come join us every last Monday of the month to swap and learn about plants with your neighbors. Please bring your plants, cuttings and seeds to exchange. You can still participate without bringing a plant to swap.Plants must be healthy and pest free. Please do not forget to bring bags or containers to carry your new plants home.
