Chronicling America is a prototype Website providing access to select digitized newspaper pages and information about historic newspapers, and is produced by the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP). NDNP, a partnership between the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Library of Congress (LC), is a long-term effort to digitize historically significant newspapers from all the states and U.S. territories published between 1836 and 1922.
