Reopening Dates for Five NYPL Branches Formerly In Use by the City
The New York Public Library is pleased to announce official opening dates for five branches that were in use by the City as Learning Labs or COVID testing sites through June 30: Riverdale, St. Agnes, Dongan Hills, Mariners Harbor, and Hamilton Grange. These locations will offer unlimited browsing, desktop computer use, laptop loan, and general library use, including open seating. In-person programming will be returning slowly over the summer and into the fall. Masks remain mandatory at all NYPL locations.
Riverdale Library — opening Monday, July 26
St. Agnes Library — opening Monday, July 26
Dongan Hills Library— opening Monday, July 26
Mariners Harbor Library — opening Monday, August 2
Hamilton Grange Library — opening Monday, August 9
With the exception of nine branches under construction or needing repairs, the rest of NYPL's branch libraries fully opened on July 6.
