Try Your Hand at Walt Whitman Poetry "Mad Libs"
May 31st is American poet Walt Whitman's birthday and to celebrate, we thought you might enjoy reimaging a few of his poems and injecting some of your own creativity into them—Mad Libs-style.
Here are links to two of his works—you can fill in your own substitutions right on your computer. This could be a fun activity to do with a few friends and compare your poems!
