Celebrate the 7th Annual #LibraryShelfie Day with Us!
"We're ready for our close-up!" say library shelves all over the world today. It's the 7th annual #LibraryShelfie Day which takes place on the fourth Wednesday of January (we need something to jazz up this sometimes dreary month, do we not?). Today, book lovers show off their colorful spines and their great taste in books by sharing photos of their beloved library shelves. Of course The New York Public Library is going to get in on the action. Here are some of our wonderful NYPL staff members showing off the Library's shelves.
Once you've seen ours, follow along with the fun on Instagram and Twitter! Have your own to share? Tag your photo on social media with #LibraryShelfie. We even have fun speech bubble props for you to print out and use in your photos. Here's one in grayscale and another in color.
