Fall Staff Picks
Twilight is coming earlier, dawn is coming later, the hot garbage smell is finally fading from the streets of Midtown Manhattan ... and that means only one thing: It's autumn in New York. (Thank heavens.)
With the new season comes our new round of Staff Picks— 100 titles that NYPL staff members are excited to be reading right now.
Here's just one highlight:
Benjamin Sapadin, at our Morris Park branch, recommends Black is the Color by Julia Gfrörer, a "beautifully drawn, surreal horror comic."
You can check it out, along with the rest of the titles on our Staff Picks list, with your NYPL card.
For more recommendations, check out our podcast or find us online @NYPLRecommends, the Bibliofile blog, and nypl.org. You can also like us on Facebook, and tune in for our Facebook TV show every Friday at noon, for personalized book recommendations.
