book rec for Gwen

Hi Gwen - thought you might enjoy the book Parenting Forward by Cindy Wang Brandt. Loved this ep - put The Farm on hold!
Hi you two, I love your podcast and only just realized you had this accompanying blog. Really enjoyed your latest, and wanted to offer Frank another book of short stories, probably similar in style to what you already love, but set in the west. Lucia Berlin’s “A Manual for Cleaning Women.” One reason I love your podcast is bc I am both high brow literary and a huge fan of quality kid lit. So Gwen, my kids adored the Mercy series and were very sad it ended at 6 bks. Does your son like graphic novels? I can’t recommend the Hi-lo series enough and Zita the Spacegirl (and everything else by that author). Also Klawde, Evil Alien Warlord Cat series is pretty hilarious. And the Lunch Lady series. Ok that’s all for now!

Thank you!

Thanks so much for the recommendation - just put A Manual for Cleaning Women on hold! ; )
