U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation: Hiring Our Heroes September 10
A free hiring fair for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses on Thursday, September 10, 2015, 8:30 am to 1 pm at 69th Regiment Lexington Avenue Armory, 68 Lexington Avenue, between E 25th and E 26th Street.
A Workshop will be held for job seekers that focuses on resume writing, tips for successfully navigating hiring fairs, military skill translation, and interviewing.
The Brunch and Learn presentation for employers focuses on best practices for recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans and military spouses.
