Booktalking "Halloween Hustle" by Charlotte Gunnufson
There is a terrific dance out there that you may not know about—the Halloween hustle. Moving and grooving to the beat of the Halloween treat. A skeleton clad in an orange pumpkin shirt dances up and down the dark eerie neighborhood street, by Freak Boutique and Spider Web Cafe in town, and even down the bus aisle. Unfortunately, his pesky bones keep breaking during all of this activity, but the chipper guy binds them back together again. He meets Frankenstein, a mummy, a witch, and zombies. At the end of his journey, the skeleton invites all of his friends to join him in a wild, zany and fun Halloween dance contest.

The rhyming poetry in this book is charming, and the monsters appear to be having a really great time.
