NYPLarcade: Ghost Games
NYPLarcade is an opportunity to play, watch, and discuss independent, experimental, and thought-provoking games in a library setting. Think of it as a book club, but for video games.
Recently, we have focused on several game series for teens: Spooky Action Roguelikes, Local Multiplayer Games, and a four week series highlighting the New York City designers of Sportsfriends.
With Ghost Games, we return to game discussions targeted at an adult audience, with titles inspired by everything from haunting Swedish folktales (Year Walk) to the Southern Gothic fictions of William Faulkner and Flannery O'Connor (Kentucky Route Zero).
Participants will play and watch the selected game from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a guided discussion from 6:30 to 7 p.m. All events are FREE and take place in the third floor community room of Muhlenberg Library.
