Vampirina Ballerina loves dancing, and she does so adorned with a black leotard and black ballet shoes. She also has a black cat and a bat as pets, which are not welcome at ballet class. Plié, relevé... all of the steps that she must learn are daunting, and Vampirina attempts to not trip over her own feet in the process. However, practicing with mummies, vampires and monsters in the Haunted Mansion will definitely improve her skills.

In ballet class and during recitals, all of the other girls are dressed in pink and white. Vampirina Ballerina, complete with fangs and makeup finally learns the steps, and she loves performing with her ballerina friends.

I love the spider webs on the cover, the bat wings and the pink and black. On the inside of the front cover, the ballerina metamorphoses into a bat! I also enjoyed the double-page which features the curtain opening for a ballerina performance.
