Novelist Tim O'Brien, poet Donald Hall, and short story master Edith Wharton are just some of the writers we will be discussing at the New Dorp Library book discussions.

Please join our group, which meets one Friday each month at 2:30 p.m., from September through June (see schedule below).

We are especially pleased to be discussing The Things They Carried, Tim O'Brien's powerful account of the Vietnam experience, as part of Staten Island OutLOUD's "Big Read." The National Endowment for the Arts presents "The Big Read" in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and in cooperation with Arts Midwest.
