Movies take us away from the day to day, run of the mill activities, the humdrum and the ordinary and transport us to other worlds, other places and expose us to characters both ordinary and extraordinary, real and imagined.

Now you don’t have to wait to go to the theatre for that escape or sit at home and view your DVDs all by yourself. Come out to the George Bruce Branch and enjoy Movie Night and Family Movie Matinees. We’re waiting for you. Film choices will run the gamut from Classics, to New Releases and everything in between. Also, we have not forgotten the littlest film buffs either. Join us for Films for Tots (short films based on picture books)

Here are the show times:

• Movie Night – Every first, second and third Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. (Suitable for the whole family – Adults, Kids and Teens)
• Family Movie Matinee – Every other Saturday at 11:00 a.m.  (Suitable for Adults and Teens)
• Films for Tots (ages 2-5) – Every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
• Films for Tots (ages 2-5) – Every Thursday at 11:30 am
