Anne Ford is the best selling author of A Special Mother, a book written in recognition of the role of the mother in the life of a disabled child. She was most recently featured on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams in a segment called “Making a Difference.”
Join us for this informative and thought provoking hour as Anne, along with co-author John Thompson, talks about A Special Mother. Anne will discuss the trials and tribulations of raising a child with learning disabilities and related disorders. A valuable question and answer segment with Anne and John will follow along with a short film on the topic. An opportunity to meet the author and purchase the best selling books will follow at the conclusion of the presentation.
