Reader’s Den
Reader's Den 2011!
Welcome to this year's edition of the Reader's Den! In case you're stumbling across this page for the first time, the Reader's Den is an online book discussion group led by New York Public Library's very own librarians and staff. Each month a book, poem, or short story is chosen and discussed right here on NYPL's website. Read along each week and post your thoughts and comments throughout the month.
What's great about the Reader's Den is that you can follow the discussion at your own pace. You can even check out past book discussions from previous years. So if one of your New Year's resolutions is to read more or take time for yourself, then the Reader's Den will help in suggesting great titles that you might enjoy.
This month we are reading The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery. You can request a copy on the New York Public Library's online catalog or by visiting your local library branch. Tune in next week as we get the discussion rolling.
Happy New Year and happy reading!
