Pic Pick: I Ain't Gonna Paint No More
The current Pic Pick is
I Ain't Gonna Paint No More
By Karen Beaumont
Illustrated by David Catrow
When my nose isn't shoved in between the pages of a picture book, it's usually covered in paint!
The baby in this story isn't any different.
If you're one who loves to rhyme and paint then this one is for you.
Each page uncovers a new color and a new thing to paint. Let's say I find some red, then I paint my ___ (insert certain body part that rhymes with red).
Wait a minute!
Are we supposed to be painting our body parts?
Uh, Oh! This might lead to big trouble...
Our Coloring Page today is a print out of a little boy, whose body parts need to be colored in, cut, and glued together on a separate paper!
Samples included below.
You can use markers or crayons to color in your "Little Painter," I choose watercolor because it gives a nice splashing effect.

David Catrow is an amazing artist, he illustrated these books and inspired our coloring sheet. The library was lucky enough to have David Catrow illustrate some of the reading logs for the Summer Reading 2009. Read more about it here.
