Each year hundreds of scholars and researchers use the Library’s special collections and research rooms. Dr. Robert A. Scott, President Emeritus and University Professor at Adelphi University, delivered an invited address this past fall at Oxford University’s Rothermere American Institute on his thoughts, concerns, and hopes for American higher education. A resident in the Library’s Allen Room, Dr. Scott is completing a book on the subject to be published by the Johns Hopkins University Press. Join us as, he shares his thoughts, concerns, and hopes for American higher education and why we all should care—no tuition or other fees will be charged!
