Expect an All Hallows’ Eve treat—and perhaps a trick or two—when the award-winning author of Coraline and The Graveyard Book stops by LIVE from the NYPL for a spell to take us inside his fantastical, magical, and sometimes terrifyingly imaginative world.

Media Sponsor: The Financial Times

NEIL GAIMAN is the bestselling author of books for adults and children. The recipient of numerous awards, his works have been adapted for film, television, stage and radio. Some of Gaiman’s most notable titles include The Graveyard Book (the first book to ever win both the Newbery and Carnegie medals), Coraline, American Gods, and The Ocean at the End of the Lane, which was named the 2013 Book of the Year by the British National Book Awards. His retelling of the Grimm Brothers’ Hansel and Gretel was recently published just in time for Halloween. Born in the UK, he now lives in the US with his wife, the musician and writer Amanda Palmer. He is a Professor in the Arts at Bard College.
