On June 5, 2008, The New York Public Library hosted its fourth annual Anti-Prom: an alternative, safe space for all teens who may not feel welcome at official school proms or dances. Themed "Cosprom," this year's event was held in Astor Hall at the Humanities & Social Sciences Library. The evening's special guest was Simon Doonan, an author and creative director of Barneys NY.
