Before lights out on the Centennial celebration’s Saturday night, The New Yorker will present Bedtime Stories for Grown-Ups, featuring readings of three iconic works of short fiction from the magazine’s archive—including Tobias Wolff’s “Bullet in the Brain,” read by actor David Hyde Pierce; and “Dayward,” excerpted from ZZ Packer’s novel-in-progress, read by actor Anika Noni Rose. Expect a nightcap of humor, chills, and captivating narratives interpreted by a beloved trio of voices as one New York institution salutes another.
This event is free but reservations are recommended. To reserve your spot via ShowClix, click here or call 1.888.71.TICKETS.
