Culturally Diverse Nursery Rhymes to Share
When you think of nursery rhymes, you think of your childhood. This poetic version of storytelling teaches tradition, relays information, and can become a common cultural thread through generations. Rhyming and singing also help your child learn new words and develop listening and memory skills to become a strong and independent lifelong reader.
Below is a selection of books with some of the most beloved nursery rhymes from all over the world to showcase people from different countries and cultures. Use these titles with your young ones to learn and embrace other stories and traditions and to discover how similar we are to one another.
